Journal 8 - Raymond Lowey

Raymond Lowey was an industrial designer who gained fame for the magnitude of his designs. His work is especially prolific because it personally aspires a burning feeling to succeed. It has a work hard and be paid hard sort of attitude and it interesting to see how it can grow from something small to something larger.

The most recent time period 1960 - present compared to the moderns is the most interesting comparison because it is a continuous of modern graphic design. Graphic design in the past was restricted by the tools and visual limitation of each tools. People couldn't come up with the incredible, detailed photoshop design today had the past not built the correct foundation to facilitate design growth. Journal 1 - Introduction

Hey guys! My name is Jasper Jeng. I currently live in San Jose, enjoying the beautiful weather every day. This course seems interesting to me because I have always wanted to have a deeper understanding on the origins of graphics design. Knowing the history could be beneficial to me when deciding the strategies involved in designing visuals for users. My main motivation to taking this class is to have a concrete foundation in creating websites! I hope that one day I can create nice websites for other people and be paid for them!
